Okay, so you have a fashion brand and want to add some cool essential prints that reflect your brand aesthetic…but you’re on a budget, what do you do?

Easy! The Digital Weaver print studio and Sublitech printers have teamed up to create a collection of essential licensed designs at an affordable price range. Let’s start with a basic explanation of  ‘yardage printing’, essentially the print design repeats seamlessly along the length of a roll of fabric. This is the most cost effective method of printing. When you combine the ‘Licensed’  collection with ‘yardage printing’ your cost per meter is even more affordable.

How does the ‘Licensed’ collection work? Our Licensed Prints are Royalty Free Non-Exclusive designs, this means once you purchase a design in a particular colour you can use that design in that colour as many time as you want across any number of garments, there is no maximum limit or time limit on these designs. They are not available as exclusive prints, however with the amount of designs available and with dozens of colour options you are spoilt for choice.

Step 1:

• Hop on our website www.thedigitalweaver.com
• Click on the ‘Shop Licensed Designs’ tab on the top bar
• Then click on the ‘Shop by’…for example ANIMAL or STRIPES etc.
• You can also browse by colour …for example RED or NATURAL etc.
• Then scroll through all the design options and click on your favourite
• Remember you can zoom in on the design by hovering over the image

Step 2:

• The design is in seamless repeat at 150cm wide - ready to print
• The design is high resolution 300dpi RGB jpeg - ready to print
• If you wish to add a design to your shopping list, click ‘add to cart’
• If you wish to purchase a design simply click the ‘buy it now’ button

Step 3:

• Then just fill-in your details and finalise the payment
• Remember to add your correct email address
• Check your inbox for your email Download Link
• Follow the prompts to download your file
• The artwork file will download into your ‘downloads’ folder or desktop
• Save the file to your computer in a safe easy-to-find folder for future use
• Then send the file or email link to your printer… Sublitech printers can save you time, just send through your download link email and they will organise to print your design onto your fabric. Super easy and fast!

Step 4:

• Lastly it’s time for sampling run to check you are happy with the colour
• Once that is approved then it’s time for your Production run
• Work out how many meters of fabric you will need.
• Your pattern maker can usually help you with this.
• Place your white base fabric order and have it sent directly to your printer Sublitech accept fabric deliveries directly from all fabric suppliers.

Step 5:

• Book in your production with your cutter & maker.
• Check your 1st samples and approval final production garments
• Congratulations you’re ready to sell your garments!!
